The WCRC-6 will be organized under the auspices of the International Cotton Researchers Association (ICRA), an entity that represents cotton researchers throughout the world. CABI, FAO and CIRAD are sponsoring the Conference, with major support from the ICAC. The Organizing Committee and Government of Brazil are sponsoring a number of researchers from Africa and many other cotton producing countries.
The Conference is comprised of plenary sessions and a number of concurrent specialized sessions over five days. Participants will have the option of joining one of two Technical Tours after the Conference.
Two keynote speakers will make presentations following the Inaugural Session. Many collaborating international projects are organizing their meetings/workshops during the Conference week in Goiânia.
