The second Meeting of the Asian Cotton Research and Development
Network will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 14-16 November,
2002.
The Institute of Genetics and Plant Experimental Biology of Uzbekistan
will host the meeting. Delegates from Bangladesh, China (Mainland),
India, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam and many
central Asian countries are expected to attend the meeting. The
meeting will focus on biotechnology and theme of the meeting will
be "New Genetical Approaches to Cotton Improvement".
